We've just uploaded a new video to our Youtube channel, outlining some of the basic principles of gasket design.

Our video contains some basic information that you should take into consideration when designing a gasket, and some 'rules of thumb' that you should follow if you wish to achieve a seal between two surfaces.

This video describes the different parts of a standard pipe gasket, but the dimensions and parts it describes are applicable to many different gaskets.

RAM Gaskets You tube Channel is now live

We've just added our first video to our You tube channel: a short promotional video, demonstrating some of our manufacturing capability and the markets we serve.

We will shortly be adding videos exhibiting the other parts we manufacture, and the materials that we stock and supply.

RAM Gaskets Awarded SC21 Bronze Award

We're proud to announce that, after several years of developing and implementing 'lean' manufacturing processes and making quality improvements, RAM has attained Bronze Award accreditation to the SC21 Programme (Supply Chains for the 21^st Century). SC21 is an initiative overseen by ADS (Aerospace, Defence, Security – formally the SBAC).

In being accredited RAM join an elite group of suppliers to the defense and aerospace industries. The remit of this quality award is for producing aerospace quality gaskets to the defense and aerospace industries.
